"Strangely really cold inside the terminal. Just come off a cold plane and the terminal is really chilly. It’s 7am and still dark outside but you’d think they’d have the temperature at a comfortable level."

"Fairly quick, although security seems to like to ask you to take everything out of your bag and a bit picky the last couple of times I’ve caught a connecting flight. "

"You'll find a couple of options smoking at Lisbon Terminal Terminal 1. It's the busiest terminal which can make it challenging to find a smoking area.
If you are beyond passport control and security there is a smoking area at Gate 47. Before passport control/security there is only an e-cigarette/vape area.
ANA Lounge Smoking Area
Another option is using the ANA lounge that has a smoking area. Priority Pass holders can access this lounge too. You'll find the lounge after security on floor 1 at the top of the escalators and entrance can cost around €36 for entry without a pass. More details here:

The ANA Lounge is a good way to escape the crowds and relax. When we visited it was quite busy though but had a good range of drinks on offer and some food."

"Plenty of toilets and places to eat and shop near to the gates."

"Busy but they do have scanners where you do not need to remove your electronics making the process a bit quicker. Liquids still need to be taken out of your bag. "

"There’s currently a water fountain on your right just after security and outside the toilets. There’s also a machine selling bottles of water for 1 Euro. "

"Small electronic gates and passport control but the queue was super quick on the day I arrived. Friendly too."

"Plenty of Ubers and Bolts at a reasonable price. Dedicated pick up area too which is well sign posted.
As simple as it could be."

"Fairly clean and tidy toilets and plenty of cubicles on the whole."

"Navigation a little lacking due to the layout of the airport. For example, when landing trying to find passport control and baggage is fairly easy but requires a sharp turn through some doors away from the gates. It’s less obvious than it should be."

"Tends to be deplaning into buses, they are large and spacious and doesn’t take too long."

"There’s a dedicated meeting area for Ubers and Bolts which is great. I wish UK airports did this properly.
Make sure you check if your driver is parked up to as they don’t just drive past the waiting area.
Prices are very reasonable and airport is close to the city."

"Baby strollers
To ease navigation through the airport, a complimentary stroller service is provided after the security check-in.
Designed for infants up to 3 years old or those weighing up to 15 kg, every stroller carries the recognizable ANA logo. Once your use is complete, you may conveniently leave the stroller near your boarding gate.
This service is available After Security in Terminal 1."
